i had been planning to write this post for quite some weeks but was confused that whether i should write it or upload my voice recording on soundcloud.finally i chose writing/typing because some people may have issues with soundcloud and i am left with only 59 minutes on soundcloud storage space.
Background
i had uploaded some recordings a few months ago in which i had requested my master Maulana Sheikh Nazim Adil Al Haqqani to mention the merits of Imam Ali alaye hi salam as i had witnessed that a very vast majority of his followers,in fact almost all of them,consider Abu Bakr higher than Imam Ali alaye hi salam.What made me sad was the fact that many of them consdiered Imam Ali alaye hi salam inferior to Umar and Usman as well (Na'uzbIllah,AstaghfirUllah).Once when i tried to reveal the cunningness of Muawia to some of his followers,including some self-proclaimed 'Mufti type shuyukhs',they looked down upon me.
Cutting the long story short,a few months after the uploading of those audios,Maulana began to gave daily sohbats (talks) mentioning the merits of Imam Ali alaye hi salam.I was very much pleased to know this.
Purpose of this post:
This post is meant to thank my master Maulana Sheikh Nazim Adil Al Haqqani for mentioning the merits of Imam Ali alaye hi salam to his followers and for declaring openly that Abu Talib alaye hi salam is from the people of paradise (Although majority of kharji-minded sunnis do'nt think so,his stand will facilitate the correction of this one misbelief in sunni world,in sha Allah).Although he has already spoken so much on the issue,i wish he could mention in clear words that Imam Ali alaye hi salam is on the highest rank after Prophet Muhammad Salla'l la ho alaye hi wa aalihi wasallam.I am saying so because many of his followers are stubborn and their ego wo'nt allow them to swallow this fact.Those followers who consider Abu Bakr higher than Imam Ali alaye hi salam,will not accept this reality unless Maulana Sheikh Nazim himself commands them to believe so in clear words.
Secondly,i want Maulana Sheikh Nazim to bring more historical facts and truths in the light which are although harder than this one,for his followers,to swallow e.g the superior right of Imam Ali alaye hi salam on caliphate,usurpation of caliphate from Imam ali alaye hi salam by Sheikhain,Usurpation of lands of Fadak and Madina,threats given to Syeda Fatima Zahra SalamUllahi alaye haa by umar bin al khattab,revolts set against Imam Ali alaye hi salam by hazrat Aisha,talha,zubair and Muawia,the damages doen to Islam by Muawia,the legitimacy of Imamat of 12 Imams of athna-ashariyya (contrary to famous sunni position which includes yazeed la'een in 12 Imams ,Na'uzbIllah/AstaghfirUllah)........
These points are important and need his attention because speaking up in the favour of truth is also a sort of Jihad and speaking up on these points will benifit none other but him,in the akhirah....On the other hand,if he does'nt speak up and clarifies these points,he may be held repsonsible for keeping silent on these issues and letting his followers believe what they wanted to believe....From the point of view of a Sufi,the famous philosophy of 'Al hubb Lillah,wal Bughz Lillah' demands as well that those must be unveiled who oppressed the beloved ones of Prophet Salla'l la ho alaye hi wa aalihi wasallam (specially His daughter, may peace be upon Him and Her) and made them angry.Imam Ali alaye hi salam is the spring of spirituality.Not speaking up in his favour while it is more than due,will be unfair for a sufi.....
In the end,i can only hope that somebody just reads it out and conveys to my master Maulana Sheikh Nazim Adil al Haqqani QaddasAllahu Sirrahul Aziz.
