Hey guys !
Although there are different posts available to recover ther text from a corrupted word file ,most of them do'nt help in a sheer situation.
I had an experience recently where one of my files got corrupted.i tried to recover it with difffernt methods but failed.i tried to copy the file, tried to rename it but all failed.i tried open and repair from the office but it did'nt work for me.
I then tried a recovery software named something like Recovery Toolbox for word.(google it and you'll find the link to download.its setup file's size is some 3.1 MB) which did'nt work for me initially, but then a blend of technology and intuition worked for me.As i tried to extract data from the file which i had shared on desktop, the software failed as some other softwares had failed.i thought to try 3 template files present on my desktop with .tmp extension. And i was lucky that one of them had the data.the software showed the data present in that file. The rest of the thing was easy.
Ctrl+A-------------------------------> Ctrl+C-------------->Ctrl+V (in notepad, word pad and word with several copies of each)
My document had'nt any images involved,so right now i cant tell you whether this software extracts images as well or not?
But try to make several copies of your wok as a preventive caution. In case of large amount of work,do it in several word files and keep uploading them on your email id a draft.
